Beauty Tricks For Busy Girls | Fatest Beauty Tips For Busy Girls

Get your makeup done in just five minutes with these in-a-flash tricks

Step 1: Foundation

Foundation is a skin colored cosmetic applied to the face to create an even, uniform color to the complexion, to cover flaws and, sometimes, to change the natural skin tone. Foundation applied to the body is generally referred to as "body painting."

In the palm of your hand and apply it like lotion. For foolproof blending, "make sure they're the same type of formula -- both oil-free, for example," says Petra Strand, a Los Angeles-based makeup artist.

Step 2: Concealer

A concealer or color corrector is a type of cosmetic that is used to mask dark circles, age spots, large pores, and other small blemishes visible on the skin. It is similar to foundation, but thicker and used to hide different pigments by blending the imperfection into the surrounding skin tone. It is normally applied after primer, after foundation and used on the face.

To nix dark shadows, work the color into your skin with fingertips; the warm touch will help the makeup go on smoothly, preventing a cakey effect.

Step 3: Blush

Blush also called rough or blusher (UK), is a cosmetic typically used by women to redden the cheeks so as to provide a more youthful appearance, and to emphasize the cheekbones.

Various substances have been used as rouge. In ancient Greece for example, crushed mulberrieswere favored, while red beet juice, crushed strawberries and red amaranth have also variously been used.

Step 4: Mascara

Mascara is a cosmetic commonly used to enhance the eyes. It may darken, thicken, lengthen, and/or define the eyelashes. Normally in one of three forms—liquid, cake, or cream—the modern mascara product has various formulas; however, most contain the same basic components of pigments, oils, waxes, and preservatives.
